Saying
Monday. Awoke at ten minutes to six right on target to get up and head out the door, the day just starting to recover from last night's rain. Cold, the eyes watering, the nose upset, but not overly so, not as much as they have in the recent past.
The restaurant was open when I arrived and so sat down to read the papers, having the two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. I figure I can't get into too much trouble with two strips of bacon, although this food thing is devolving into just another kind of babbling as time passes.
Finished up at eight-thirty and so the walk home, taking the usual yellow rose picture and then noting the Bird scooter that was sitting just beyond as well as the fact there was only one scooter at the entrance to the school. Still not sure what they do at the school, but with one scooter I'm assuming their students are on Christmas vacation for the rest of the week.
Do you have any idea what you're talking about?
About the school? Vacation this week? No. Not a clue.
They're saying sun now through the rest of the week. I can quite happily get my head around sun for the rest of the week.
Later. Lied down for a while after posting this morning. Remained tired for about an hour, unlike yesterday when the day chirped right on by. Still, down for only an hour, back now seemingly better.
A walk up to the construction site to take a picture to see what was visible after the rain. I pass by the other side of the building on Grand every morning, of course, and there are workers visible coming in and out of the building showing something is going on inside (how many truck loads of crap have they carted away?), but so far no sign any other construction is underway.
Back to again lie down for another hour. Tired. Again. All that running around yesterday?
You didn't do any running around yesterday.
Evening. I think I bailed on this entry before I started. We'll think about that tomorrow. If we remember to think about it tomorrow.
Babble, babble.
As I was just saying.
