December 18, 2018

This

Tuesday. Lights out just after nine to awaken at five forty-five, too early, ( but what the hell?), up and out the door on a not that cold clear sky morning to arrive before seven, the restaurant open and a sunny day ahead.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee breakfast again for no particular reason, finishing the papers by eight-thirty and heading out for home taking the usual pictures, the yellow rose photo below the school turning out badly and skipping the lone scooter at the school entrance altogether. I've taken enough school entrance scooter pictures.

Home to find yesterday's entry a mess. I'd flaked out on it yesterday before noon and hadn't touched it since, hadn't even added the picture links. Empty heads do lead to empty pages I can attest.

Later. Added this after getting home from breakfast tomorrow. I'd taken a bus to the Broadway ATM and then shot pictures at the nearby construction sites on Webster and Valdez yesterday in the late morning, but hadn't processed them and really didn't remember to process them or write about them until this morning. Yesterday, in other words, I'd evidently totally crapped out by noon so we'll end this with this.

The photo up top was taken at the 2010 Oakland Holiday Parade with a Nikon D3s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
