I Did

Sunday. OK, decent night's sleep, awakening at ten minutes after six to get up and get ready to drive to breakfast on a dark overcast morning, last night's rain having stopped. Arrived at ten minutes to seven, a little early, the restaurant dark, but the dining area door unlocked and so entered to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. So far, so good. Felt fine. Well, good enough. No complaints.

The eggs Benedict, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up just after nine to cross the street to document the four cent drop in the price of regular before walking to the car and driving home, the selfie in the lobby before settling in with the computer to finish yesterday's entry, still not raining, the 49'ers-Ravens game starting at ten. Raining like crazy in Baltimore from the look of the mess on the screen.

Later. Still the very light rain through the morning and into the afternoon. The 49'ers lost, the Ravens kicking a field goal in the last three seconds of the game. Still, a good game, back and forth, although the Ravens seemed to have an edge.

A walk up the way to the apartment house/condominium construction site to take four pictures, not raining and no bright sun to shoot into and making it difficult to frame the photographs. They obviously prepared for this coming week of rain. Returned right back home, no thought to set out again later.

Watched both episodes of the two Elementary reruns that started at five, switching to a football game during commercials. Not sure if that's a good sign or not, watching old Elementary reruns I've seen before. To bed even earlier than usual before eight, lights out and radio off just after nine, the political interview one I'd heard before, yes, but also because I was tired and figured I'd get to sleep soon after. Which I did.

The photo up top was taken at the 2014 Portland Holiday Express with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 24-70mm f/2.8 G Nikkor lens.
