Hours
Sunday. Lights out before nine, well before nine, to awaken at a quarter to six to take the blood pressure (117/69), which is good, and take the blood pressure med with the rest of the meds for what is now three days in a row taking two meds a day before setting out to drive to breakfast. Arrived under clear skies at five minutes before seven to find the restaurant dark, but for a light back in the kitchen and so entered the dining area to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers, the Chronicle not arriving with the Times and the East Bay Times this morning.
The two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, pancakes, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up by a quarter to nine and driving home, skipping any thought of going by the supermarket. The excuse I used was I was feeling a case of diarrhea coming on and thought it best to get home before it got any worse. Turned out to be a very good excuse as I ended up literally running to the bathroom when I arrived. Probably shouldn't have delayed and skipped taking the selfie in the lobby.
Where's this going?
Straight to the bathroom.
More problems getting the computer programs up and running, ending up rebooting a number of times before it straightened itself out. Took long enough that I just said the hell with it and posted what little I'd finished yesterday. Took the blood pressure again, 96/65 this time, way too low and so we're off taking two meds a day, one in the mornings, one in the evenings. Best I have that doctor's appointment coming up in January.
Later. Watched Tiger Woods and the President's Cup being held in Australia all the while feeling ever more tired and so took a couple of readings in the early afternoon: 107/64 just after noon and then 95/59 at three. Tired isn't the word for it and so did little or nothing while watching the 49'ers lose their game with literally one second left to play.
Took a reading at three forty-five when I realized I was feeling somewhat better and it was up to 111/61 and 125/62 at four-forty feeling better still. No more double doses of the blood pressure med in a day, we'll go with higher readings before we'll mess with more meds again.
Evening. Power lost in my neighborhood at eight forty-seven, they say it will last for twenty-four hours.
