And....

Wednesday. Quite tired last night and so to bed not long after seven. Tired or not, didn't get to sleep until after nine-thirty, but awakened finally at ten minutes after six getting what I'm thinking was a decent night's rest to get up, take the blood pressure meds along with the others and drive to breakfast in a very light rain, arriving at ten minutes to seven to find the restaurant had just opened, the owner (who usually arrives quite early) saying she'd been caught in backed up traffic due to a vehicle accident and death just up the way at the Lakeshore Highway 580 exit. Not the first time someone has died at that exit.

Settled in with the papers and ordered the beef patty, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up finally by a quarter to nine and heading home to take the usual selfie in the lobby before setting in here at the computer. Decided to skip posting what little I'd done on yesterday's entry and start on this one. Feel reasonably clear headed, as we usually do in the mornings, but the later mornings and afternoon have been fuzzy headed enough to make writing or even processing pictures somewhat onerous and so the hell with it, we'll put aside any thoughts of finishing what we'd started on yesterdays journal.

You'd processed some of the pictures, but hadn't written a word of it and now, a full day later, you really can't remember what you'd done or been thinking.

I did walk to the bank on Lakeshore, picked up a Christmas card at the shop across from it and then walked right home, getting in a decent walk. Followed up with another walk to the post office after to mail the nephew's card and the paper delivery guy's Christmas tip, getting in another much shorter walk. Maybe why I was so tired later that evening. Besides, what's to remember. All these days are pretty much the same has always been your opinion.

Has always been the fact, my good man.

Later. I've only been able to listen to the Trump Impeachment Session for short periods, the same set of arguments stated over and over. I suspect this polarized battle in its various forms will go on longer than I'll be around in this life. Hope it's all eventually resolved and the polarization we've developed over these last decades lessens.

We don't need any preaching.

That's why I keep this kind of commentary to a minimum. Better to describe what I had for breakfast. At least it isn't upsetting. Climate Change Disaster is a different matter and where I skip a lot of the Trump stuff, I do give shout outs to Greta Thunberg's mission.

Spent too many hours trying to fix the update failures I've been having with my Adobe apps. Both the Photoshop and Lightroom updates have been failing and, although I've found others posting online with the exact same problem, the fix has been elusive. And have I mentioned my lack of focus these last years? Not good when you're troubleshooting something that's more complicated.

Evening. More failures with the update problem(s), we'll have to talk with Adobe tomorrow. The president has been impeached and I'm sure he and it will inhabit the news now forever. Otherwise the blood pressure is good, the weight has been down three pounds for this last week and....

The photograph up top was taken at the San Francisco 2007 Asian Heritage Street Celebration with a Nikon D2Xs mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 Nikkor VR lens at 1/1000th second, f 2.8, ISO 100.
