Morrow

Thursday. Reasonably coherent going to bed last night, but stayed up until ten watching a Netflix series on the tablet. Got to sleep soon enough, I guess, awakening at just after six to take the blood pressure (113/75 - good, we'll see how it is after taking the med this morning) and head out walking to breakfast. Rained last night, stopping only recently from the look of it, but still decided to walk to arrive at close to seven, the restaurant open and people inside.

The two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee because I couldn't think of anything else. Skipped most of the impeachment stories because I'd watched/read enough about it yesterday and finished up by eight-thirty to set out for home taking the usual set of pictures: scooters by the lake, a recent graffiti addition in the parking lot at Grand and Euclid, the workers still finishing up the roof on the house at the bottom of my hill and the necessary selfie in the lobby. The walk home always seems shorter than the walk to breakfast probably because I'm busy looking about and taking pictures.

The same damned pictures every damned morning.

Works for me.

Yesterday's entry was longer than I remembered, I must have been clearer headed than I realized when I was writing it. The sun is poking through at the moment, they're saying clearer skies until the rain returns on Saturday night and so maybe up the street later to see how they're doing on the apartment/condominium construction site as there was a cement truck parked on the lane beside it, as I was returning this morning, pumping cement to the site below. (And I've been hearing what sounds like that truck has been active through the morning.)

Later. Pretty much overcast without the sun through to this afternoon, spent the time watching Suits, a oddball Netflix series, and listening to the various news programs that start at two. That's been about it. Life in the fast lane around here.

Watched the Democratic Presidential Debate. Their positions seemed to come across more clearly with seven participants. Be interesting to see how the various news sites and papers spin it tomorrow. I have no idea who's going to end up the candidate in this Time of Trump, although I have hope it will all be happily resolved.

You're babbling.

Evening. Took a look at Vera at eight. I'd seen it before, but again, didn't remember anything about who'd done it or why. Remembered the beginning, though. To bed with lights out by nine-thirty, but stayed awake longer than usual nodding off, we'll see how that affects the morrow.

The photograph up top of a figure discovered on the sidewalk down below the apartment in December 2008 was taken with a Nikon D3 mounted with a 85mm f 1.4 Nikkor lens.
