After

Monday. To sleep before ten to awaken at six. Must have been tired. Up to go through the usual routine, the blood pressure (), the sky clear and so a walk to breakfast on a cold morning, the eyes and nose doing their thing, to arrive shivering at the restaurant to find it had just opened and so settled in with the papers after turning on the dining area lights.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, still over a pound under the target on the scale this morning, finishing up by about eight-forty to walk home, catching a man on a bicycle breezing through the 580 Overpass light and a line of Lyft scooters on their sides by the lake. Warmer walking home, but just. The selfie in the lobby and then up to mess briefly with yesterday's entry before posting. Monday, the day before Christmas Eve, two days after the Winter Solstice, at least we have brighter days ahead. (He said.)

Later. A walk to the 7-11 look-alike to pick up bean dip, Doritos chips and an ice cream bar because that's what I needed to do, I guess. Good ice cream bar, the Doritos and bean dip OK, finished all three in one brief stretch.

I finished watching the The Witcher series on Netflix this afternoon, thinking I'd probably need to watch it again to half understand exactly what and when everything was going on. And there seemed to be a lot of stuff going on. So much for my complaining.

Complain about it and say you quit watching it on a Saturday, but then give it good marks and finish it today. You really are fuzzy headed.

Evening. To bed again well before eight, lights out and radio off before nine and to sleep soon after.

The photo up top was taken at the Oakland 2010 Holiday Parade with a Nikon D3s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
