Nine
Tuesday To sleep after ten to awaken just before five and then zone out until a quarter to six, not the best night's rest from the feel of it. Off to walk to breakfast dressed in two sweaters instead of a sweater and the goose down filled jacket, all under the lighter winter weight jacket this time, the sky clear, the weather people saying it would be warmer than usual later and I thinking I'd better prepare for it walking home. Arrived to sit alone way in the back of the empty dining room and settle in with the papers.
The Eggs Benedict, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by around nine to take the desktop picture this time before heading out walking back home, feeling really tired for some reason, the back a little creaky. Still, took the usual set of pictures, no crapping out this time, not all that many people on the sidewalks again and arriving home to take the selfie in the lobby and sit down at the computer. As usual. But really, really tired.
Managed to post yesterday's abbreviated entry before crashing on the bed to take an hour or so's nap, duplicating it after noon to finally get the head half together and start on this. These days happen, not sure they're the best sign things are right.
Later. Finished a six episode series on Britbox I've been into for a while after watching the news and then took that second nap. So much for the afternoon.
A story in the newspaper this morning talked about how much daily exercise you need to get after a study showed that people who don't get any at all tend to die a whole lot sooner than those who do. The amount of exercise wasn't that much. Walking for half an hour every day was more than enough in some studies. I've been short of the needed half hour certainly since the start of the pandemic. Be interesting to see, especially after a day like today, if I end up doing anything about it.
Evening. Stayed up until eight and watched the first ten minutes of a NCIS episode on television before bailing on it and heading for bed well before nine.
