After

Thursday. To sleep by ten-thirty to awaken for good by six-twenty to get up, take the blood pressure, take the blood pressure med and set out walking to breakfast under clear skies with scattered clouds, arriving to enter the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.

The oatmeal, toast, fruit cup and coffee this time, the weight right at one fifty-five on the scale this morning, finishing up just after nine to set out for home, deciding not far along that I'd better return to the restaurant to use their bathroom or I'd be in trouble, returning just in time to then set out again feeling much better. Such is life. Took the usual series of pictures, some good, some not so good, arriving home to take the selfie in the lobby and then take the blood pressure again to find it in line.

Later. The blood pressure was up at noon and so took twice the usual dose followed by a single dose at four. How long does it take the med to kick in? How long and evenly does it perform? Ah, well. I suspect I'll send another note to the cardiologist on Monday, see what they may know.

Watched some football on the tablet, listened to the usual news programs, noted the outside air quality was crap and managed to get through the afternoon without needing a nap.

Evening. The usual add this section (and most of the section above) the next morning as writing coherently wasn't in the cards by about noon. Nothing on television and so to bed again by eight, lights out by nine-thirty, to sleep not long after.

The photo up top was taken in May 2015 at the San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
