Nine

Wednesday. To sleep not all that long after ten to awaken finally at five minutes to six to get up, take the blood pressure (to find it good) but still deciding to take the med. Listened to Democracy Now! before getting up to set out walking to breakfast. Cold with the streets and the sidewalks wet from the rain last night. Arrived, entered the indoor dining area, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers. Only one couple entered the indoor dining area all the while I was having breakfast.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, deciding I'd better head for their bathroom before I finished. Which turned into a race at the very end. Best I had. On home under a bright sun, still fairly cold down into the forties, taking the usual pictures of the now diminishing flowers suffering from the rain and our now well on our way into winter.

Arrived to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure (to find it had dropped lower than I'd have liked) and then settled in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning's pictures and start here. Need to get blood drawn today. Wonder if I will.

Later. Drove to the lab to find the physician's assistant who'd said she was going to send the lab request evidently hadn't and so their office will track her down to see which test she wanted taken. The lab will call me when they hear. So back to the apartment well over an hour later. At least I didn't get a parking ticket when the time dragged on beyond the half hour I'd put into the meter.

Watched the various news programs that started at two, gave up and went back to the tablet. Got a call from the lab to say they'd gotten a call from the cardiologist's office with the order for the test and so to the lab again tomorrow.

Evening. Blood pressure up in the early evening and so a fourth dose of the blood pressure med. Started a movie on the tablet I realized, ten minutes in, that I'd seen before and so lights out after nine.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
