Sleep
Tuesday. To sleep soon enough, at least as I'm able to recall. I figure if I can't remember when I dropped off it must have come sooner than later. Awakened for good ten minutes after six to take the blood pressure, find it good, and so back to bed to listen to the rest of Democracy Now! before getting up and driving to the Lakeshore ATM on a sunny and cold morning. Parked by the 7-11, crossed Grand and entered the indoor dining area to turn on the lights and settle in at my usual table with the papers.
The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to walk back to the car and drive straight home. I'd been thinking of going by the supermarket, but managed to talk myself out of it. They're saying rain starting after noon and lasting, on and off, through this coming weekend.
Home to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure to find it happily unchanged and so settled down at the computer to start here.
Later. Another afternoon of watching a television series on the tablet with the usual breaks to watch or listen to the news, although most of what I was seeing/hearing I was familiar with from reading the morning papers and earlier broadcasts. Thus is life, salted with the Omicron variant these days, here in Oakland.
Evening. More tablet up until eight when I put the tablet away, took a final blood pressure reading for the evening (the usual two doses of the med just after noon and at three), lights out by nine and then, at least, little or no problem in getting to sleep.
