Haunt

Wednesday. To sleep a little later than I'd have liked, at least if I'm remembering correctly, to awaken at five minutes after six, take the blood pressure to find it reasonably good, although I did decide to take the blood pressure med. Back to bed to listen to Democracy Now! before getting up again and driving to breakfast under a light rain, parking by the 7-11 store and entering the restaurant's indoor dining area to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. No indoor or patio diners showed up while I was there.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing by nine to walk back to the car, drive home and take the selfie in the lobby, no running for the bathroom this time. A call from the cardiologist's office on the Protime blood thinner lab results: running a little low, take an extra half dose of the blood thinner med tomorrow, we'll see how that works out with the next test four weeks from now. I wonder if I'll be living in Oregon four weeks from now.

Later. A notice that the results of the kidney lab test had been posted to the physician group's web site. The Creatinine number was better, but still too high or, at least, out of the normal range. I assume I'll get a call later on that.

More mental wrestling with this upcoming move. I have to let the landlord know tomorrow what I'm planning. There's quite a bit of flexibility on that, but the task has been mentally daunting. Better to have been ten years younger with something like this coming along.

Hid out with the tablet, mostly, watching a not very entertaining Britbox series and then finding a Korean series I'd started a couple of months ago on Netflix that caught my interest.

Evening. Stopped watching the Korean series long enough to check out Midsomer Murders at eight. I'd seen it before and I suspect I'd only gotten up from the tablet to check it out in order to stretch my legs and put the tablet away to make it easier to get to sleep later. Back to bed, lights out at nine, still wresting with what I'm going to do about his move. I find if I don't have something to distract my thoughts - the television, the radio, the tablet - this move thing creeps in to haunt.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
