Constitutes Mischief
Wednesday. Early, but I can see the sun coming up behind the buildings that block my view of the lake. Hooray for another good day. The primaries, well, the primaries. “May you live in interesting times.” Indeed. Still, there will be clever other than election related things to read this morning in the paper, my ability to absorb any more for the moment burned out by listening to the returns last night.
A walk down and back from breakfast at the usual place. Yesterday I walked part way home from the downtown after getting a haircut and noticed aching muscles that shouldn't have been aching with so little effort. So I've been warned, informed, made aware of what I must do from here on out. Walk again as I've walked in the past, no way to blame it on advancing age and whatever this sinus-head thing may be.
Hmmm, well, a walk to the bedroom just now to lie down and listen to the radio thinking to take a blood pressure reading, taking a blood pressure reading: 95/55. Hmmm, that will make you light headed right there. Got up to take second reading thirty minutes later: 106/65. Hi, ho. The start of another day.
Later. I set out walking around noon with little thought of doing anything other than seeing if walking might clear the head and ended up downtown without particular effort, having lunch and returning on the bus to where I sit now with an entire afternoon ahead to conjure mischief. Now what, anymore, constitutes mischief?
