Tomorrow

Wednesday. Tired and so to bed after eight, lights out after nine, awake this morning at ten to six. Enough sleep? I guess we'll see. We're not jumping up and down, racing around in or outside our head, but it's overcast out there and maybe that's having an effect. The day will tell us the tale soon enough.

The usual walk to breakfast, they're saying rain later in the afternoon so no worry about the current overcast. Doesn't look like rain. The avocado and cheese omelet for breakfast, we'll gamble on the cheese for later, then the walk home, passing the new bar they're constructing next to the book store, the exterior siding now in place. Similarly took a picture of another of the flowers below the Lakeview School that seems to have turned out somewhat better for a change.

Need to go by the bank and then the card shop later before it starts to rain. And there are yesterday's pictures that need to be finished and prepared for the web. Energy enough for these after last night?

Later. A walk to and back from the bank, stopping to pick up a birthday card at the card shop on Lakeshore. A decent forty minute walk and now back to fill out the card and find I was down to one remaining postage stamp with a card that required two. Doodle-dee-do. I'm thinking another walk to the post office, something I'd been thinking to do earlier when I was setting out to the bank, but didn't because it had slipped my mind by the time I was on the way back.

Blame it on....

Indeed. The one blame that fits all errors. Still, I can use the exercise.

Later still. A quick walk to the post office to stand in line long enough to remember to order stamps and such online next time, next time in another year given the number of stamps and envelopes I decided to buy. Still, card sent, new stamps stored in the desk, number ten envelopes enough for, well, a long time.

Now to listen to the news as we finish up the protest photographs. Don't want to get behind on our protest photographs during these too interesting times with so many people out on the streets.

Evening. Finished the DeVos Protest web pages for HereInOakland and posted them. We'll move them to artandlife tomorrow.

The photo up top was taken at the demonstration against the confirmation of Betsy DeVos as Education Secretary yesterday at the federal building with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
