Morning

Tuesday. Lights out at ten to fall asleep to the sound of rain, awakening just before six to get up and get out the door to drive to breakfast, stopping on the way at the Lakeshore ATM. Again, fought the idea of going by the ATM, but no friction whatsoever in actually doing the damned thing. Seems to now be a permanent quirk in the psyche, avoiding thoughts of going anywhere different than our usual habitual destinations, walking or driving.

The oatmeal and toast, along with the fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, taking a picture of the four cent reduction in gas prices. Home to find my next door neighbors stuck in their parking space in the building next to mine with a dead battery. They had jumpers and I had a live battery. I'm usually the one who needs a charge.

Again raining, looking like rain or the threat of rain through the day, so I guess we're not going to go out and play.

Later. In reading the news I see we've had quite a bit of rain overnight and into this morning. Hasn't been raining here in the last couple of hours, but lots of flooding around the bay and north, so no more cheeky remarks.

Evening. Pretty much watched stuff on the tablet through the afternoon and listening to the usual television news programs. The sinuses started ramping up and so a dose of the pain meds to see if they'd have any effect before lying down for an hour.

Democracy Now! to catch the half hour I'd missed this morning. The sinuses don't seem to have paid any attention to the meds, they're still active. Reactive.

They're saying a chance of showers tomorrow with the real rain on Thursday, clearing up by the weekend. Maybe there will be a chance to walk to breakfast in the morning?

The photo up top was taken at the January 20th Trump protest at Frank Ogawa Plaza with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
