The While

Saturday. I did get to bed just after eight, did turn out the lights and slept, again probably too lightly, until half past six to get up and head out to breakfast. It had continued raining last night, the streets were quite wet, but it wasn't raining when I left and so I walked. We need to walk.

The oatmeal with a side order of toast (with fruit cup and coffee) for breakfast again, tastes good and doesn't seem to come back in any form to haunt that I've found, the skies still overcast, but no rain on the way back to the apartment. So our gamble with walking seems to have paid off.

There's another dump Trump demonstration scheduled in front of the Grand Lake theater at noon, a continuation of the one I'd run into by chance last week on Saturday, so maybe some pictures later. I'll be there with cameras in tow, so something to look forward to this (they're saying it's going to be clear) weekend until Monday, when a larger storm is due. Larger than what we've had so far.

Later. A walk by the lake to the farmers market and over to the Grand Lake theater just before noon to find a few people had shown up for the demonstration and so walked on to the ice cream shop for two scoops in a cup before returning to take a series of pictures.

Back then to the apartment, the sinuses having been doing their number since getting home from breakfast and so an additional half dose of the pain meds on top of the dose taken earlier this morning. Not good and so to bed that turned into an hour plus nap. More sleep on top of the more sleep from last night for three days now in a row.

So what are we going to do?.

Take the meds when I get up before breakfast instead of after breakfast and see if that doesn't somehow help.

Later still. Four in the afternoon. Our sinus/head cold/mind in a bubble reality has started behaving, as it often does in the late afternoons and evenings, and so all is well in Dingle Dell. Well, we're sitting around watching television (all of which we've seen before).

Evening. No old Elementary episodes on either of the TV channels that run them on Saturdays, but life still stumbles on. I suspect. For the while.

The photo up top was taken last Saturday at the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
