Art & Life

Early

Tuesday. To sleep soon enough, not long after ten, to awaken then at a quarter to six. Best not to guess whether it was a “good” night's rest or not, better see how we feel later this afternoon, hoping yesterday's tiredness after photographing the X Wall demonstration was an outlier.

Good luck with that.

Why not?

Quite cold and clear, the mornings at ten minutes to seven are lighter now, no more walking in the dark. Arrived to find the restaurant open and so sat without taking off the winter coat, reading the papers over the single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee breakfast, finishing up at close to nine.

Still quite brisk walking home, even with the bright sun, but the usual pictures less a selfie when I got home, just forgetting to take one more than anything else. Clear headed enough, no issues otherwise, yesterday's entry a wandering mess, but nothing unusual in that and so posted it without much of a qualm. Pictures to process, now, and laundry to avoid.

Later. None of the tiredness and so spent some time on the tablet before working on the No Wall photographs to find I do have enough for a web section and so finished the photographs and started on the files, getting far enough along that they'll be done tomorrow. When's the last time I've put together a web section? I believe I have two of them sitting undone in addition to this one, time we finished all of them and put this lack of effort behind us. He said.

Evening. My, my. Actually got the thing done. They're not all that good, one or two decent ones, but no excuses and so up to HereInOakland it goes. The ArtAndLife section tomorrow.

Watched another episode of The Team at six, broadcast in Danish, German, Flemish and English with English subtitles. If that sounds confusing, it is. Too many characters to follow. The French version of an Agatha Christie story at seven wasn't worth the effort and so to bed and the tablet to continue with a Prime series I started yesterday. For maybe five minutes. And yes, I grumble about how the characters are portrayed in it as well. Lights out early.

Yesterday's No Wall demonstration at Lake Merritt taken with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 Nikkor VR lens.
