And So....

Saturday. Awoke at twenty minutes to six, too early, but enough sleep. Up to walk to breakfast on a not too cold morning to arrive at seven, just as the owner arrived, and so headed into the dining area to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. OK, a Saturday, not so bad.

The Eggs Benedict, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. Two pounds under the target weight on the scale this morning and the Eggs Benedict called out my name. Finished up at close to nine to walk back home taking pictures of two flowers in their sidewalk planters, the broken traffic sign that was still sitting on the sidewalk below the Lakeview school and another of the Honda Element owned by another tenant in my building that was parked out in front of the apartment house this morning. I looked up the sign on the web to find Illumination Village - Department of Idiocy was a group that participated in Burning Man. Interesting. Into the building to take a selfie and then another before settling in with yesterday's all too brief entry. Not for the first time.

Later. Watched golf for an hour before walking over to the lake to take a couple of pictures, the sun bright, the temperature in the low sixties, but people about. Just not enough people about for me to take many pictures. So back to the apartment, the sinus-upper palate having been acting up now all morning. Thought about taking a double dose of the pain meds, but I'm never quite sure they work. The pain seem to get better as often or not with or without them.

Watched the rest of today's round of the tournament, three golfers tied for first place who will play the final round together in the same group tomorrow. So I'm sure I'll be watching them again tomorrow.

Evening. The sinus-upper palate thing is behaving a bit, not the distraction or intensity it was earlier. I did take the double dose of pain meds around four and they've improved its current state or it would have cleared up on its own. Conundrum No. 99. Nothing on television and so....

The photo up top was taken at the 2012 San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D3s mounted with an 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens (at ISO 5,000).
