Ten

Friday To sleep around ten to awaken for good just after six again and so another decent night's rest. I think. Got about the same amount yesterday and still hit the wall when I got home. Up to walk to breakfast, noting the cherry blossom trees shedding petals on the sidewalk this time, arriving to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. A little tired.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight one fifty-two on the scale this morning, finishing up by nine to set out for home under clear and sunny skies, taking the usual series of pictures along with another of the cherry trees and the petals on the sidewalk. I always wonder about that. How early are the cherry trees blooming this year?

Home to take the selfie in the lobby, again feeling tired and a little dizzy, up to settle in at the computer as usual when the thought hit: Dizzy? The blood pressure had been 107/63 this morning, low but not out of line. What was it now? Took the measurement: 99/64. The blood pressure med, taken before setting out for breakfast that I've been adjusting and watching like a hawk, is obviously too strong. Maybe start alternating a full dose with a half dose every other day, see if that will bring it in line, although the pressure has been varying now for way too long.

Later. Well, hell, another afternoon on the tablet, finishing up a couple of series I'd usually bitch about if I had the energy to do so and taking in some of the impeachment trial on the various news programs.

Evening. Actually watched the Inspector Morse episode at eight. Yes, I'd seen it before, didn't remember much about it and stayed the course more for not having anything else I wanted to do. The energy was better by then, took a blood pressure reading - 122/66 - which was better than recent evening readings and so turned out the lights at ten.
