Less Of It

Saturday To sleep again not long after ten to awaken at just after six to get up finally to take the blood pressure (110/61 - low again), take the old half a dose of the blood pressure med instead of the full dose I've been taking now for these last couple of weeks and set out walking to breakfast under overcast skies with a very mist like rain falling.

Had I known while still in the apartment I would have taken the car keys and driven to breakfast. Arrived to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. Again, as yesterday, a little tired.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to head for the restaurant bathroom again. What's that about? Every day now for the last full week, head for the bathroom either at the restaurant or when getting home. Seven days in a row. Can't remember ever having done that.

The cloud cover having pretty much broken up and the sun shining through, set out for home to take a usual, but abbreviated series of pictures, arriving to take the selfie in the lobby and then settle in here. Tired, as yesterday, wanting to lie down rather than finish, then post yesterday's entry. Pretty much a repeat of yesterday's tiredness, half dose or not.

Later. Watched too many episodes of a series I found on Netflix, watched some, but not much of the P.G.A. Pebble Beach Pro-Am Tournament, listened to the news and that was about it, other than feeling every bit as tired as I was yesterday and so stopped writing once I'd finished the morning paragraphs. Doesn't matter much, when it's written, reads the same either way, at least in my head.

Evening. Best In Show an odd Saturday night movie on PBS at eight. I lasted for maybe five minutes, again tired and ready for bed. The blood pressure had been 103/63 when I took it later at nine-thirty this morning, up to 121/65 at one twenty-five and 124/67 at eight-twenty this evening when I went to bed.

The last two readings are about right, the blood pressure where it's wanted, but having it too low obviously adds to this tiredness thing and I suspect, when I keep the med dosage lower tomorrow, it will help. So let's hope. Not uncomfortable, this tiredness, but life would be better without it. With less of it.
