Sunday Lights out by ten to awaken just after six to listen to CounterSpin followed by TUC Radio, getting up then to take the blood pressure (109/65 - still low), take the smaller dose of the med and then drive to breakfast under partly cloudy skies to arrive, park, enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the Sunday papers. Not tired for the first time in these last few days. Because I hadn't walked?
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, noting that the Chronicle had finally printed an obituary for old friend S. Clay Wilson. The N.Y. Times and Washington Post had printed theirs last week, good to see the local press noting his passing. Finished up not long after nine to walk to the car, take the usual pictures, drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby and then settle in at the computer, again, without the tiredness of recent days.
Took the blood pressure again at eleven: 120/66. Good. Now let's see how it holds over these coming few days as we keep the med to the lower dosage.
Later. A decent afternoon without the “tiredness” thing and so watched crap on the tablet and listened to the news, yes, that's not much different than recent tired afternoons when I did the same thing, but at least I was more aware of my surroundings. I did watch and enjoy the end of the P.G.A. Pebble Beach Pro-Am Tournament though, Berger winning by getting an eagle on the last hole.
Evening. Watched the beginning of something called Miss Scarlet and the Duke On Masterpiece at eight. I should have known better just from reading the title. To bed well before nine, the blood pressure 129/78, verging on being a little high, but still in line. A bit like juggling, keeping track of this stuff.
