Midnight
Monday To sleep not long after ten (I think) to awaken then for good just after six to take the blood pressure reading: 96/59. This after 129/78 last night. Took it again at seven-ten: 109/64. OK, that's more in line.
Raining and so drove to breakfast, remembering it was President's Day and I'd have been able to drive with or without the rain as the parking meters were not being enforced. Anything to talk myself out of walking. Arrived as usual to park, enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. Definitely raining out there, no way I'd have walked.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, one fifty-three on the scale this morning, finishing up to walk to the car, take the usual pictures and drive straight home in the rain, take the selfie in the lobby and then settle in at the computer and start with this.
Took another blood pressure reading at nine-twenty: 119/65, right on target. Am I going overboard with this blood pressure business? It at least gives me something to do during the day that doesn't involve watching marginal movies, listening to the news or carping about it.
Later. Something's been going on over at the lake, the rain having stopped by noon and the sun peeking through since. Didn't do more than note something was up, no thought to go over with or without a camera, something I would have done without question years back. Ah, well. Curious though.
Watched a movie and more episodes of this and that on the tablet for another cookie cutter exactly like every other afternoon.
Evening. Nothing on television worth a look and so to bed before nine, lights out at ten, but finding it difficult to get to sleep this time, the bedroom clock watching me until well after midnight.
