Sleep
Tuesday The difficult to get to sleep last night ended in sleeping through until the set to sound at six-thirty alarm went off to get up, take the blood pressure (115/62) after 127/64 last night and head out walking to breakfast under partly cloudy skies, arriving to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers not overly tired.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up before nine to set out for home and take my now somewhat reduced series of photographs along the way, again, not feeling tired, but noting I'm not hopping and skipping along in the best of shape either.
You say this, but you don't do anything about it.
True. Maybe one day, though. You never know.
Home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post it and start with this. Again, not particularly tired, maybe a good day ahead.
Later. More of this and that on the tablet and breaking to listen to the news, the usual sort of afternoon. Managed to get all the way through the PBS Newshour, something I've been skipping out on lately, generally spending more time with the local CBS programs at noon and starting at five.
Evening. The blood pressure 137/72 at eight-twenty, then checking it again and having it read 125/61 at nine-forty when I turned the lights out. This up and down thing doesn't seem to go away.
There'd been nothing on television I wanted to watch and so I'd gone to bed not all that long after eight to listen to some of an NPR program on electric and driver-less cars. They didn't really cover anything I hadn't already known before and so lights out before it was over at ten to see if we couldn't get a decent night's sleep.
