Monday OK, a decent night's sleep, awakening at five-fifty in time to listen to the five minute KPFA News followed by Democracy Now! before getting up and setting out walking to breakfast under clear soon to be sunny skies, passing by a group of Spin scooters set out on the sidewalk, no sign of the Lyft scooters that have been monopolizing the area for so long. Arrived at the usual time to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. So far, so good.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee again, the weight up on the scale this morning, not sure why. Finished up after nine to walk home under a bright sun and comfortable temperature (they're saying it will reach seventy later today) to take a series of pictures of the usual suspects, some of them overexposed. Part of that is my looking over my shoulder as I'm shooting, looking for potential thieves, and so not taking enough time to get it right. That and some combination of laziness, not caring enough and whatever else makes for lame excuses.

Now, now.

I know, we do go on. Took the selfie in the lobby and settled in as always at the computer, finishing up here at close to noon. Not overly tired, but I've been thinking it might be nice to lie down.

Later. Another cookie cutter afternoon watching the news and ever more stuff on the tablet. Still no deep down desire to head outside. I should, but go where? Thus is life.

Evening. Nothing on television I wanted to watch and so to bed with the tablet, giving up on it before nine to turn the lights off by ten. Getting to sleep hasn't been much of a problem lately, but getting to sleep early tends to make we awaken too early and probably should be avoided.

Well duh.
