Out

Thursday. To sleep not long after ten, I seem to recall. I figure if I can't remember it must have been because I went quickly to sleep. Right? Awoke at five-thirty, too early, but blinked a couple of times and it was six to get up and take the blood pressure (to find it fine), to listen to Democracy Now! until seven before getting up and driving to breakfast under clear skies, the weather people saying up into the low nineties for the next three days. Arrived to park by the 7-11 store, enter the restaurant's indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing before nine to walk back to the car and drive home, take the selfie in the lobby, hit the bathroom, take the blood pressure (still low) and settle in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning's pictures and start here by ten.

Later. Tired and somewhat wobbly when standing during the first part of the afternoon. Did some packing, but needed to do more. Comfortable lying down, the blood pressure is holding within the reasonable zone, but I'm not getting enough done for the move.

Evening. The “somewhat wobbly” has passed, which is good. Watched the first thirty minutes of Wallander at eight, decided again I don't like the main character's angst and story line (although I've always liked Kenneth Branagh who plays the role) and so gave up and went to bed, ending up listening to the ten o'clock NPR news before lights out.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 San Francisco J-Pop Festival with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
