Done

Friday. To sleep soon after ten, but half awakening a number of times after three to finally get up at six-twenty to take the blood pressure (really good), listen to the rest of Democracy Now! and then get up at seven to walk to breakfast under clear skies. Arrived at the restaurant as usual just before the wait staff arrived to enter the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers. No other diners showed up to have breakfast indoors this morning.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing well before nine to walk home under a bright sun, the energy reasonably good and taking (what else?) the usual set of pictures.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure again to find it even lower than it was yesterday morning, but without any of the wobbly feeling.

Later. More taping and packing. Not enough, but progress. Received the new credit card and so went online to update all the subscriptions and such that needed to be updated as well. New expiration date and added the Oregon address.

I was watching the tail end of a Britbox series, five minutes left to go, when the Xfinity network failed. I'd received an email earlier this morning saying the network was offline in my area, but they were working to get it fixed before noon. Wonder if whatever caused it this morning popped up in my area just now.

Evening. The internet came back just before eight. Interesting to see how it limited my options/distractions and forced me to continue with the packing. Got quite a bit done.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 San Francisco J-Pop Festival with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
