Come
Thursday. To sleep soon enough, but awakening as usual around five, doze off and then awaken for good at six, get up, take the blood pressure to find it higher than I'd have liked. Back to bed to listen to the rest of Democracy Now! and get up to drive to the restaurant at seven under clear skies, arriving to enter the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.
The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing well before nine to walk to the car, drive home, take the selfie in the lobby, visit the bathroom, take the blood pressure to find it much lower than it was when I got up. Good. Sat at the computer, finished and posted yesterday's entry, processed the morning's pictures and started this just after ten.
Called the moving company and was able to reschedule the move from next Monday to next Wednesday, giving me more time to finish packing. The stress is suddenly less.
Later. Quite a bit of packing. A little wobbly during the day and so would pack a box or two, lie down briefly, pack another box or three, lie down again and so on through the afternoon.
Evening. Watched the very beginning of Wallander at eight, the Wallander character played by Kenneth Branagh again portrayed, at least in the beginning, as a mental basket case. Didn't need to watch a program starring a character who's fighting his demons, I have demons enough of my own at the moment, and so bailed for the bedroom, lights out again after nine. Much to get done tomorrow and now for two extra tomorrows to come.
