Theft

Friday. An up and down funky tiredness came on last night that led to sit down and watch the Vera episode, getting to bed after nine-thirty. Lights out at ten thinking it was too late for lights out and awoke at six-thirty, fifteen minutes later than the target. Still, I'd set the alarm if it were really important and so can't really complain.

Clouds while walking to breakfast, but not as cold as it's been these recent mornings. Still had the eyes watering and the nose misbehaving on the way. Had an avocado, mushroom and cheese omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, thinking I wasn't really all that interested in the omelet, but couldn't think of anything else that appealed. Been a while since I've looked at the menu, maybe I'm forgetting one or two selections. But I doubt it.

Read the papers realizing I'd already read more than a few of the stories yesterday online. There's always the comics. Sun walking home having put a zoom lens on the small V 1 camera this time around and so taking more pictures than usual. The same pictures, just a few more. No complaints, I enjoy processing them when I get home after editing the day before journal entry, yesterday's as it happens but half finished, and so slapping together an ending. I talk about sloth. Sloth doesn't seem to bring on much guilt. Too much guilt.

Bright sun out there now and they're saying it will last for the next ten days. No rain. Hard to justify staying inside when the sun is shining.

You seem to have gotten very good at staying inside, rain or shine.

OK. Inside, rain or shine. Too easy to devolve into babble.

Later. Two out of three deliveries have arrived this afternoon, the last one due is the replacement for the box that got lost. Otherwise listened to the news and spent time finishing a series on the tablet, no thought to wander outside. So I'd say no surprises.

Evening. Waiting on that third package to arrive and so checked out the Inspector Gently episode that started at seven. Turned out I'd seen it before and didn't need to see it again. Ontrac, the delivery service bringing this one more often than not will leave the package beside the apartment house front door without buzzing its arrival and so I've learned to check the web site every now and again to see if it's listed as delivered. It was listed as delivered at seven-thirty and indeed there it sat outside the front door of the building. I guess they don't think there's a problem with package theft here in Oakland.
