Again

Friday. Awoke at six after lights out last night at ten having taken more time than I'd have liked getting to sleep. Not bad, just take a little longer time in getting ready to head out for breakfast at a quarter to seven so as not to arrive before the restaurant opens. Not too cold, the eyes were watering, but within bounds.

Ordered the two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast and went through the papers, not finishing until just before nine to set out for home, a Lime scooter sitting just outside the restaurant door. Still no thought or desire to try riding one, not even try one once to say I'd had the experience, but that's been the fact. The wobbly head thing, you understand.

Another easy walk home feeling reasonably clear headed, no real signs of rain so far, although the weather people are forecasting rain over the next seven days. We need it, the rain, but it doesn't lead to getting out for more walking.

Later. Watched another episode or two of a BBC series on the tablet before walking up to the nearby construction site on my street to take a picture and see if they've been making any visible progress. Seems they have. Slowly, it seems (to me, at least), given how long they've been working on the existing building and how much more construction they have ahead of them before it's done. Overcast, of course, they're saying rain again in another few hours.

Evening. Watched a German subtitled detective episode that started at six, skipped out on another one that followed and retired to the bedroom to take up with the tablet again. I'm starting to see a pattern in these evenings. Lights out before ten again.

The photograph was taken walking home from breakfast this morning with a Nikon 1 V3 mounted with an 30 - 110mm f 3.8-5.6 Nikon 1 Nikkor lens.
