Done

Friday. Lights out before ten to awaken at six-twenty. Good. Hustled a bit to get out the door by six forty-five and walked to breakfast, the air cold, but not too cold, to arrive by seven to find the restaurant up and running, a nice day ahead. I decided.

The single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast and coffee over the papers, taking more time this time to go through the news (the stories today less on Trump and more on other things of interest at least to me) and so finished up around ten after nine to walk home and futz with two selfies on the fly in the lobby mirror. Not sure why I'm so hasty with these.

Need to go by a card shop over on Lakeshore today and so we have a walk in the works later. Always good to have a walk in the works, even if it's not all that much longer than the walk to breakfast in the morning.

Later. A walk to the bank, a walk across the street to the card shop, a walk to the ice cream parlor and then on home before one, the tasks for the day now done.

The photograph was taken at the Women’s March by the Oakland City Hall with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 Nikkor VR II lens.
