January 5, 2021

Evening

Tuesday To sleep soon enough, but another awaken at three in the morning routine to change sleeping position, awaken again at four and then at five, up finally at six-forty to check the blood pressure (right on the button with the new med), get up and head out walking to breakfast under clear skies, arriving to find all the staff present and so into the dining area to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee this time around, finishing up not long after nine to set out for home under a now above the horizon sun, taking the usual set of pictures of the ever fewer remaining flowers (hiding in positions that make them more difficult to photograph).

Home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer to post yesterday's entry and process the morning's pictures, but then crap out and not start writing here.

Later. Well, later. What later? A long time on the tablet, continuing with God Of Lost Fantasy that I should be embarrassed to admit I've been watching at all if only because of the broken title. This interspersed with the usual news and Facebook stuff took up the entire afternoon.

And no small part of the evening.

Evening. And no small part of the evening.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco Pistahan Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
