Habit

Monday To sleep soon enough to awaken, however, at five-thirty with a sore chest and so spent maybe half an hour finding various lying positions to make it go away. Which it did. Checked the street through the bedroom window curtains and saw it hadn't rained, but then, when I checked later while listening to Democracy Now!, heard the wind blowing and the rain coming down. So we drove to breakfast under a fairly hard rain, one that got me wet walking to the parking meter, but stopped as I was walking back.

The restaurant door was unlocked and the lights were on in the kitchen, but no one was at the counter, so walked back into the dining area, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers to finally order the oatmeal, fruit cup and coffee when the waitresses arrived. Finished up ten minutes after nine to take the usual two pictures on the way to the car, drove home, took the selfie and settled in here at the computer to go through the morning routine.

Later. Watched more episodes of something called Gods Of Lost Fantasy, a fifty-two episode Chinese fantasy series on the tablet. I wasn't expecting to get as far into the series as I am after experiences with others of this genre. But I have. And that's been the afternoon.

Evening. Checked, then skipped watching Father Brown. Tired and so to bed early again. I'm afraid this to bed early, lights out early, is becoming a habit.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco Pistahan Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
