Imagined

Saturday Missed a couple of days. Maybe we're going to climb out of our morning rut, maybe we're not, but we'll know soon enough.

Awoke this morning at five-thirty, too early having gotten to sleep around eleven last night, but feeling reasonably coherent and so walked to breakfast under clear skies. Arrived to have the oatmeal, fruit cup and coffee breakfast, finishing up at nine to walk home after discovering I'd forgotten I'd left the camera battery charging in the living room yesterday when it ran out of juice and so couldn't take any pictures so we'll make do with one or two taken yesterday.

Pretty funky looking pictures.

I was noting one had taken down its window display and the one beside it still had its mannequins in place, both of which I've been passing by now seemingly forever. Makes me realize this local world of mine is probably going to look a great deal different than I'd imagined.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 Oakland Art & Soul Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
