By Ten
Wednesday A good night's sleep. Lights out before ten to awaken at six-thirty and get up after seven to walk to breakfast under clear skies and a relatively warm temperature, the weather people saying the warm spell we've been having (and breaking Oakland temperature records) will last through the day. Arrived at the usual time to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up after nine to walk home in a bright sun, skipping the usual flower pictures but for one. The sidewalks have been pretty much cleared of the tree branches blown down by the recent wind and so home to take the selfie and settle in here at the computer for the first time in some time.
In some time?
Tired mostly these last several days, no energy to write or process pictures. Maybe time to break this daily posting of drivel routine, back off for a while and do a weekly posting rather than this daily business. We'll see.
Later. Didn't listen much to the inauguration ceremonies, spent the usual amount of time on the tablet. Happy to see Trump gone without him starting any last minute wars, of course, but I'm hesitant about Biden and his Neoliberal history in government. He's making hopeful noises, but the proof will be in his actions and we really only see hints so far. But I do go on....
Evening. A fairly clear-headed day given how they've been this last week. No complaints. More tablet, to bed by eight-thirty, lights out by ten.
