Time

Thursday To sleep at a decent hour to awaken then at six. Another good night's sleep was the thought. Up to walk to breakfast and settle in at my table with the papers, the sky clear, the temperature not too cold.

Oatmeal, a fruit cup and coffee, this time, as the weight is misbehaving a bit, finishing up well before nine to set out for home, take a picture of a different group of flowers and note the fact that not a single bicycle had been rented at the Ford Go-Bike station this early morning. I know people have been buying bikes hand over fist with the pandemic, but are they still renting them? Have no idea. On along Grand home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in here at the computer, posting yesterday's entry (surprise!) and start on this. Feel good.

Later. Another watch a series on the tablet, a Britbox thing this time, take a bath and follow the news. I am interested and a bit hopeful with what Biden decides to do with climate change and the virus (so far, so good with those), but also health care, the economy, taxes and the like. Enough activity, it seems, to fill my afternoon.

Evening. Checked out Vera at eight to find I'd seen it before and didn't need to see it again, feeling tired and so to bed right after with lights out an hour earlier than usual this time.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 Oakland Chinatown StreetFest with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
