Morning

Saturday To sleep soon enough last night to awaken at fifteen minutes after six. Not bad, we'll count that as a success. Up to walk to breakfast on an overcast morning, the temperature not all that bad, the blood pressure 112/63, which is good. Arrived as they were setting up the outside tables, entered the dining area, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up around nine to walk home under still quite overcast and cloudy skies, although there was some sun that broke through later, taking the usual set of pictures before arriving home and taking the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer and starting here.

Later. I watched some golf. Haven't done that in a while, but the interest soon faded and so spent most of the afternoon watching Silent Witness on the tablet, a Britbox forensic scientist/detective series that works better than many another standard series of this kind. So much for a Saturday afternoon.

Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed around eight, lights out by nine-thirty after saying the hell with it, we'll recount how long and hard it was getting to sleep in the morning.
