Weeks
Monday. To sleep at a decent hour to awaken for good at six-twenty and so a good night's sleep. Right? Well, sometimes, given the number of times it hasn't been true. Still, up to take the blood pressure to find it a bit higher than I'd liked, but still within range, listen to the rest of Democracy Now! before getting up and walking to breakfast, arriving to enter the indoor dining area and settle down at my table with the papers.
The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit up and coffee, finishing by nine to walk home under quite overcast skies, the temperature cold, but better than it had been yesterday. They're saying a chance of showers today, with rain coming tonight.
Home to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure again (looked better), settle in at the computer, edit yesterday's entry, post, process the morning pictures and start here. Oh, dear.
Later. Another nap, or half-nap, if you count a hazy headed period curled up on the bed. Got a recommendation from Ms. M. for a mover she's used successfully in the past and so a call to them tomorrow to set up the move (one hopes) in February.
Evening. Watched Identity, a movie starring John Cusack and Ray Liotta on Netflix, that held my attention throughout. Haven't found one I've enjoyed this much in a while. Finished it by nine and so lights out by nine-thirty, not worried I wouldn't get to sleep well before eleven. This getting to sleep when wanted business seems much less of an issue over these last many weeks.
