That

Saturday. To sleep soon enough to awaken on and off until finally awakening for good at six-twenty to get up and take the blood pressure (looked good), go back to bed and listen to the news until seven, get up then to drive to the Lakeshore ATM under clear, soon to be sunny, skies.

On over the hill to park by the 7-11 store, cross Grand, enter the restaurant's indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with but two papers, the New York Times again missing this morning. Happens now and again, but now and again is too often.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up well before nine without the Times to read and so set out early for the car to arrive home by nine, take the selfie, take the blood pressure and find it lower than it was this morning (not unusual to have this be the case) and settle down at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning's pictures and start on this at ten-thirty.

Later. Watched (about half of) the Bengals-Titans game, Amazon delivering a package just as the Bengals were getting ready to kick the winning field goal and so missed it, but no complaints. Otherwise spent time looking for something worth watching on the tablet, taking blood pressure readings (they went well) and unsuccessfully attempting a nap.

The sinus area has been aching lately. I was happy weeks ago when it seemed to have stopped. Let's hope it will go away again. Please. Let's see: washed the hair, took some of the pain meds for the first time in months and that rounded out the afternoon.

Evening. For some reason I'd though the 49'ers-Packers game was scheduled for tomorrow, but learned, in looking at The East Bay Times on the web, it was underway and already into the second half. So much for watching it on television tomorrow and so turned on the radio and listened to the play by play. Half listened, anyway. They won literally in the last minute with a field goal. I would liked to have seen that.

The photo up top was taken at the 2014 Gay Pride Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
