Night

Sunday. Counted off most of the hours in trying to get to sleep last night to finally awaken for good at six twenty-five, take the blood pressure (looked OK). Got back in bed and listened to TUC Radio before getting up at seven and driving to breakfast on another clear skies with the sun coming up morning. Didn't feel tired after what I was thinking was an unusual lack of sleep, but we'll see how we feel later. Parked in front of the restaurant, entered the indoor dining area, turned on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing after nine to walk to the car and drive home, take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure (a little higher than I'd have liked), settle down at the computer, finish and post yesterday's entry, process the morning pictures and start here by ten-thirty.

Later. Not tired so maybe I got more sleep than I thought, although I do remember watching those hours click by on the clock. Ah, well.

The pigeons on the balcony are more active than they've been in a while, the line of slots up above now has five or six of them filled with nests. Hard to say what's going on there, but took a couple of pictures around noon. No thought to go out, the air quality is crap and so watched the first half of the Chiefs-Bills game. I should have watched it all the way through as it, in listening to the post game show, learned it had a last minute record setting ending. And you skipped it because?

Britbox released the Season 11 fifth episode of Vera this afternoon and so I watched it on the tablet. Oddly, although it was new, I thought I'd seen it before. Maybe another with a similar plot line? But still. Memory, memory.

Evening. Nothing on television or radio on Sunday nights I wanted to listen to or watch and so to bed early, lights out by nine to see if we couldn't get to sleep early after last night.

The photo up top was taken at the 2014 Gay Pride Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
