Oncoming Traffic
Monday. Up late, a leisurely morning, lunch with MSV in Oakland, a bus ride back, a nap, a walk down the way for a bottle of diet Coke and an ice cream cone, home now thinking of taking another nap. This retiring and unwinding from decades of work sure does wear you out. I would repeat this a couple of more times except I ran into two fellow workers still with the company crossing the street, both of them deep in conversation looking stressed, walking at a good clip, neither of them noticing me pass until MSV and I said hello. I hope they keep an eye out for oncoming traffic.
