Will Post Later
Saturday. Dinner last night here at my sister's with Mr. and Mrs. L, an excellent dinner and conversation where I think I kept a sufficient cork in it to not be thought going off at the mouth. Not a lot of dinners where that happens, running on at the mouth, all the folks I know in the Bay Area have heard any and all of my stories. So good.

Up to Seattle later today for the family party, we'll leave about eleven, takes something like just over three hours to reach Bainbridge Island I seem to recall. My sister will drive, we'll use her car, I'm certainly not ready to handle another trip like that right away, I'd like to not drive for another few days. Which I won't.

I don't plan on taking the laptop with me and posting later today, but take care of it when we get back here tomorrow. A certain level of obsession in keeping your journal is (perhaps) laudable, but you can go overboard. I'm sure of it. Overboard. One must be careful.

Later. It's now Sunday morning, we drove back late last night, will post later.

The photograph was taken at the San Francisco 2010 Gay Pride Parade with a Nikon D3s mounted with a 70 - 200mm f 2.8 Nikkor VR II lens.
