Tell

Tuesday. To sleep closer to ten than I'd have liked, awakening at a quarter to six to get up in reasonably good spirits to walk to breakfast under clear skies, the eyes and nose pretty much behaving all the way. Nice. The restaurant had just opened when I arrived and so sat down with the papers, a little tired from the walk, but feeling better than in these last several days.

The single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the weight still holding below the one-fifty target on the scale this morning. I've been assuming that one-fifty was about right, falling in the lower half of the so called “good” section of the BMI range, but I'd checked it recently with a number of online calculators and they all came back saying one-fifty is a little low, don't go any lower. So that's not a factor in what we're having for breakfast.

Finished up the papers by eight forty-five again and set out for home under a bright sun, the head relatively clear and the attitude good. Took a hurried less than sharp selfie in the lobby before heading to the computer to finish and post yesterday's entry and then lie down for twenty minutes to listen to the last half of Democracy Now! I'd missed when I set out for breakfast. A discussion of the positions taken by Kamila Harris when she was both the San Francisco and later the California Attorney General. I was curious.

Nice day out there, they're saying a high of seventy. We'll see.

Later. Not a thought to go out. Tired and so lied down on the bed to listen to the radio for an hour, finish the second season of a French series on the tablet in which there isn't a single character I have much if any sympathy. An interesting and weird story line, but everybody's a ding bat in one way or another. Still, seems to be something that's able to keep my interest as I've reacted similarly to others.

Watched some of the Womens’ U.S.- England soccer match. Saw the first goal, anyway, before coming back now and again to see who was ahead, the U.S. the victor at the end. A little dingy through all of this, the tired thing, the lack of interest in getting outside, but so has gone this afternoon. Not unusual, I'd say.

Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed by eight to start another movie on the tablet. The lungs are still a bit sore, a bit congested, this now into a second week. Or more? Hard to remember, maybe look at earlier entries to tell.

The photo up top was taken of the Dykes on Bikes contingent at the 2018 San Francisco Gay Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
