Saturday. As mentioned yesterday, fell asleep right away last night with the ocular migraine in charge, but to awaken then not long after five. We'll know soon enough if that was enough sleep. Up to walk to breakfast under clear skies and a bright rising sun to arrive and find someone sitting at my usual table. Thought about it for a bit and decided to sit outside at a patio table for the first time now in months.

The beef patty, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finding interesting ways to balance the papers, plates, cups and such on one much smaller patio table, but finishing up happily enough to run to their bathroom just in time before setting out for home on a day they're saying will reach eighty degrees. It had been cooler walking in and so best I hadn't gone with my thought to just wear a light jacket over a t-shirt, but had worn a long sleeved shirt as well.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling down at the computer, finish yesterday's entry describing the ocular migraine, post and start on this morning's photographs feeling reasonably coherent.

Later. An hour's nap starting at one, watched some of the John Deere Classic PGA tournament, watched some stuff on the tablet and noted that it indeed came close to a high of eighty degrees in the mid-afternoon. And that's been my afternoon. No thought to go outside.

Evening. Tried watching The Magnificent Seven that started at eight, but found it too exaggerated and over the top. Doesn't compare with Kurosawa's Seven Samurai and so to bed, lights out by ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco LGBTQ Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
