Nine

Tuesday. To sleep soon enough, from what memory I have of it, to awaken a couple of times before awakening for good at a quarter after six and so I'm guessing maybe enough sleep. Up to drive to breakfast under overcast skies, the temperature no so bad wearing a winter jacket, arriving to park by the 7-11 store and settle in at my table and start on the papers.

The beef patty, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to walk to the car and drive straight home, taking the selfie in the lobby and settling in to describe the afternoon in yesterday's entry before posting and starting on this morning's pictures.

Later. An hour's nap around two. Tired. A note in the NextDoor app that said a woman had a car pull up to have a person get out and steal the woman's mobile phone at the bottom of my hill at nine-thirty this morning. Just the thing you want to hear as I drove to breakfast and back today, but I'm usually walking home and arrive at that spot around nine-thirty myself as often as not.

Evening. Watched a repeat episode of NCIS at eight, one that has played recently, and realized as I watched it through that I hadn't paid attention to or just not remembered most of it the first time around. OK, watched it through this evening and then went to bed, lights out not long after nine.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco LGBTQ Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
