Out

Monday. To sleep soon enough after ten to awaken just before six and so maybe a decent night's rest was the thought, getting up at the usual time to walk to breakfast under a bright and warming sun. Arrived to enter the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my usual place at my usual table. Nice morning, but no one else entered the indoor dining area and very few had breakfast on the patio by the time I set out for home.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, the weight just fine on the scale this morning, finishing up to walk home under what was now a much warmer sun, still about half the pedestrians I passed wearing masks. I'd be curious to know how many unvaccinated people are among those not wearing masks. No way to tell, I guess, unless they're under twelve.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby and then get a message from the alimentary canal that it had immediate business to do in the bathroom (appreciated it waiting until I got home) before settling down at the computer to finish yesterday's entry (much patching there, I'm afraid), post the thing and then start on the morning pictures before getting to this point.

Later. Took less than an hour's nap, watched a movie on the tablet and listened to way too many news programs to round out the afternoon.

Evening. Nothing on television and so another movie in the tablet, a Netflix thing, not very good, but it seems to have kept my attention for an hour and a half. In bed before nine to turn out the lights and watch the clock tick off the minutes, not quite reaching eleven before I'd conked out.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 Temescal Street Fair with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
