Might Develop
Friday. Another decent night's sleep to head off to breakfast and back, running a little late, but feeling tired/flustered when I brought up yesterday's entry to edit. I'm usually not in a mood to write in the evenings, although the head is usually clear. I'm usually at my best in the mornings, although this morning was definitely an exception. This exception cured by putting off posting and taking a nap. We go on a lot about naps.
There's a protest march tonight in conjunction with the First Friday Art Murmur starting at six. Still light at six, although I haven't been going outside now in the evenings for well over a year: light or dark. But I'm thinking about it now. Still have the afternoon ahead and the various pictures to take before I need to decide, but maybe just put it out there to see where it ends.
You know you won't go.
Probably so, we're just sitting here half glued together babbling.
Later. A bus downtown at one figuring I'd miss the noon hour and find the construction crew at work after lunch and the City Center not too crowded. I did find the construction crew at work as I was getting off the bus, but for some reason they'd all stopped as I was approaching, perhaps a late lunch or a meeting of some kind, and so the pictures didn't show activity.
Worked out well at the City Center, though, where I easily found a table to eat a cinnamon bun with coffee in front of the bagel shop. Nice sunny afternoon. A walk back along Broadway to Grand to take a bus to the 7-11 look alike for a bag of peanuts before heading on to take the usual set of apartment house construction site photographs.
It's now approaching five. No thoughts about going out, tired, but we have another hour or so to decide on the Art Murmur and whatever protest may develop at Telegraph and 23rd.
There's a New Tricks episode playing at seven.
Which I've undoubtedly seen before, although I won't know until it starts.
Evening. I had seen the New Tricks episode before, had no idea where it was going or who'd done it, the usual situation. Didn't wait up afterward to see what Midsomer Murders might be about, but headed to bed to finish a movie on the tablet and turn out the lights. Obviously no thought to attend the First Friday Street Murmur or see what protests might develop.
