Enough

Friday. A little fuzzy remembering, now that it's a couple of hours after waking up, but a decent night's sleep, I'd say. Lights out at ten to awaken at six fifty-five just in time for the five minute KPFA news recap followed by Democracy Now!. I was thinking I'd find the East Bay Times at the apartment house front door when I left the building, as I took more time getting ready in hopes that it would have arrived, but it hadn't. Ah, well. It will be there when I return.

Overcast, but not cold, and so a t-shirt and winter jacket to walk comfortably to breakfast, none of the dragging feeling of recent days. Still some zip in the step. Two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. The big meal of the day. Ate breakfast, read the papers and walked home taking but two pictures.

It's Friday, the end of the week, the end of the month, there should be something going on somewhere out there I'd want to photograph and so we'll keep that in mind. Yes, yes, I say that every morning, but this morning we're closer to making it a reality. Not that I will, I do cringe just a little when I write this stuff, but the attitude is good and so who knows? It does sometimes rain in the dessert. Sometimes.

You'll probably spend the rest of the day watching television and the tablet.

One should always have a fall back position. Something I learned from the business school graduates I worked with after college.

Evening. Didn't get out or have a second thought.. Obviously. Television news and some time watching whatever it was on the tablet, a late afternoon spaghetti with clam sauce lunch/dinner, an episode or two of Law & Order. Parts of two episodes, anyway. I'd seen the both of them and seeing them that once was enough.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
