Ten

Friday. Lights out by ten to get an uneven, but not unusually uneven, night's rest, awakening before six to get up and get out the door on a sunny morning. A bright sunny morning, albeit with some water in the eyes, but obviously a good to better day ahead.

The avocado and cheese omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the usual local, national and international turmoil reported in the papers to absorb my attention, up to walk home from breakfast on this first day of June. The maybe one last pandorea photograph and then on along taking the usual pictures, one as I was walking across from the lake.

The sinus-upper palate thing is active, but I'm thinking I need to get in a decent walk after seeing how yesterday's walk seemed to tire me out. But we'll know more with the next paragraph. I'm curious.

Later. A bus to Broadway and 20th to transfer to another bus to Telegraph and Haste and the first day of something called The Berkeley World Music Festival, not remembering the bus number, but it would be listed at the stop where I've always taken it up Telegraph crossing Haste on the way to the Berkeley campus. Looking at the transit map at the stop none of the buses traveled up Telegraph. What? Took another bus home and looked up what I could find on the AC Transit web site. I couldn't find whatever bus it was I once took more times than I care to remember (but not recently) . What?

Stumbled across a Korean Festival not far from me this early evening. Maybe go there.

You felt quite tired returning after your short aborted bus trips.

And it was worrisome.

Later still. A short walk to the apartment house construction site to be to take a picture, returning to the apartment where I did my best to talk myself out of going, but then somehow headed out to take the bus to Broadway and walk the two short blocks to Telegraph and the entrance to this month's Oakland First Friday, realizing what they were calling The Korean Culture Fest was a part of the First Friday event. Haven't been to one in forever.

Should have worn a light coat or no coat at all, but took out the camera and shot pictures for about an hour. Not many pictures and very few of those were of interest, but a good outing and not overly tired when I took the bus back. Why so tired this morning with infinitely less walking? Still, not crapping out was a good sign.

Evening. Processed the few pictures I'd taken, avoided posting here, the brain pretty much a blank as it often is in the evenings. I say clear headed, but seemingly unwilling and more probably unable to take the time and energy to write. To bed by ten.

At the Oakland March For Health last month taken with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
