Crash
Thursday. Lights out before ten to awaken then at six. On the dot. Just in time for Democracy Now! to start. So good, I guess.
The sky two-thirds clear of clouds, the remaining cloud covered one-third shielding the sun that was rising over the hills as I walked to breakfast. Not too cold, some eye watering, yes, but a decent walk to breakfast to order the chicken-apple sausage, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. One pound over on the scale this morning, even with the breakfast we're making progress.
The sun had appeared on the walk home taking the usual pictures, a flock of pigeons after something on the sidewalk deserved a snapshot, home now to think about heading to an ATM later, thinking how to make the trip get in more walking before the day is over.
Later. Tired after a pretty good afternoon. Took a bus to the ATM on Broadway and then walked over to the two construction sites at Webster and at Valdez, photographing the one at 2330 Webster from the corner of Webster and 23rd and then walking around to photograph the site that burned in the framing stage last year at 2302 Valdez across from the back of 2330 fronting on Webster.
Walked home, no thought to take the bus, passing the work still being done by the lake at Harrison and Grand and picking up an ice cream sandwich at the 7-11 look-alike. Tired after that, but the head had been clear and except for a very brief period on Webster, none of the funky vision head in a bubble stuff I've been experiencing for so long. So good. But again, tired.
Tired enough to immediately lie down on the bed and watch the two episodes of Code Black that had run last night and, still tired, attempt a nap. Better now that evening approaches. But again, a good day. No complaints.
Evening. Stayed up to watch every character make really dumb moves in the final episode of Happy Valley and then to bed and crash.
