Decision

Sunday. Awoke briefly at five, blinked, and suddenly it was six. Just right (or, at least close to right, ten minutes to being the target). Up and out the door to drive to breakfast, arriving at ten minutes to seven to find the dining area dark, but the door open again and so entered and turned on the lights.

Ordered the two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast and settled in to go through the papers, not finishing until after nine to head to the car and drive home. Forgot to take a selfie, the mind obviously somewhere else, sat down to finish yesterdays' entry to realize the mind had continued to be half awake when I checked for spelling errors and such after posting. Really obvious dropped letters and errors. OK, fix what I'd found. Maybe a nap, better sooner than later.

A lie down and zone out while listening to the radio for an hour before deciding to catch a bus to the Broadway ATM, walking back to the stop at Grand and catching a bus home to watch more golf. Not much walking, but some. Nothing that would warrant a pat on the back. Overcast, somewhat cold and so a sweater under the winter jacket.

Later. Watched the U.S. Open through to the end, the morning leader holding on through ups and downs straight through the end. I'd have no desire to actually attend one in person, but it's very comfortable to follow on the screen with the various graphics they've put together in following the drives and putts. Whatever it is I watched this one and will probably watch the next.

Evening. Watched the first episode of a series on tablet that I liked that ended at nine-forty and lights out. Keep our promise on the nine-thirty lights out routine sealed the decision.

Father's Day today.
